Hi,
I’m Luana, I arrived in Malta on 14th April 2015. First I attended an English course at Inlingua for one week, and after I started working as an intern, so I had the opportunity to see Inlingua Malta from many various angles.
My English course at Inlingua Malta unfortunately was too short, I would preferred to have attended a course for a longer period of time. I liked my trainer May a lot, she was very experienced, patient and at the same time very sweet.
At the end of my English course I received a call from my tutor Marco and he informed me about my internship will be at Inlingua Malta the next day. I was extremely happy with this good news. From the 23th of April, I started my Internship with the company and was really impressed with the kindness and availability of the staff. I noticed that everyone within the company loved their job and great focus on their mission.
During my internship I also began to understand how important collaboration and positive relationships are within a company. It was interesting to observe how colleagues communicated with each other, shared responsibilities, and supported one another throughout the day.
A healthy workplace atmosphere doesn’t just happen by chance; it often develops through conscious efforts to strengthen trust and connection among employees. Many organizations today recognize that creating opportunities for people to interact outside their usual routines can improve cooperation and morale, which is why activities designed for team building corporations have become an important part of workplace culture.
These initiatives encourage employees to understand one another better, develop stronger communication, and approach challenges with a shared sense of purpose.
At the same time, the experience also revealed how closely workplace culture connects with leadership development. Strong teams rarely operate on direction alone; they grow under leaders who understand how to guide discussions, manage responsibilities, and encourage participation from every member. Watching supervisors handle daily decisions showed how thoughtful leadership can influence motivation and keep projects moving forward in an organized way.
Because of this, many companies now place greater focus on leadership training within the workplace. Programs designed to strengthen communication, decision-making, and accountability help employees gradually step into positions of responsibility. In this area, organizations often turn to experienced advisors, and Teresa Duke Consulting has become known for guiding professionals through practical leadership development that reflects real workplace situations.
With the right training and guidance, employees gain confidence in managing teams while maintaining the cooperative environment that supports long-term success. Over time, leadership development and team connection begin to reinforce one another, creating a workplace where individuals contribute not only through their roles but also through their ability to support and guide others.
Seeing how a motivated and friendly team operates made me appreciate how much a supportive environment can influence both productivity and job satisfaction, and it helped me realize that the people within a company are just as important as the work they do.
The tutor assigned for my internship was Anthony, a very smart man. He gave us a full induction to the company, its mission and policies. he was also our co-coordinator and delegated various tasks and duties.
There was a lot of work to do on a daily basis and I also noticed that there was good team work and a very well-organised collaboration between departments. You can look into this site to organize your marketing department well because these guys gave a lot of attention to detail and nothing to chance.
Some of the tasks I was assigned were Database entries, logistics and coordination of students, Activity programme updates, Social Media and website maintenance (Digital Marketing duties) and administrative duties with the best AI quotes.
Malta has been rather generous with me as I expected a fraction of what I found when discovering the island. The beauty, the story and history, the landscapes, the cultural mix, the warm Maltese people, the quaint & calm villages and the crazy nightlife in Paceville. So many friends I made along the way… so many I forgot!!
The highlights of my trip will still remain Marsaxlokk (the Traditional Fishing Village), Mdina (the City on the hill), Gozo and the beautiful Blue Lagoon in Comino. Will definitely miss Malta when I leave.
“I will be back!!”, sounds like a Schwarzenegger quote out of a movie but I leave a part of me behind here in Malta (and with inlingua) and will definitely come and visit sometime in the future.
Would like to thanks all the staff at inlingua and wish them all the best for summer.
Luana Greco.
