3. SummerDaze Festival
One of Malta’s biggest summer music events returns, spanning a full week of top-tier international and local talent. Expect epic performances and unforgettable dance parties across various venues like UNO or Café del Mar.
The main events will take place on 15 and 17 August at the Ta’ Qali Picnic Area. Central Cee and Mabel will perform at the first event, followed by a special closing set from Swedish House Mafia’s Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello. They’ll be joined by BBC Radio 1 DJs Charlie Hedges and Jeremiah Asiamah.
The second event will feature performances by Sfera Ebbasta, Clara, Kid Yugi, Bob Sinclar, Albertino, DJ Hellen, and Vida Loca.

4. Glitch Festival
Glitch Festival is a haven for electronic music lovers, drawing an international crowd to Malta each summer. 5. Feast of the Assumption
The Assumption of Mary is one of Malta’s most celebrated religious feasts, marked by colourful processions, fireworks, and traditional festas in towns and villages across the islands. Notable celebrations take place in Mqabba, Qrendi, Mosta, Gudja, Attard, Għaxaq, Victoria (Gozo), Birkirkara, and Ħal-Muxi (Żebbuġ), each honouring the Assumption of Our Lady.

6. BBC Radio 1 Dance at UNO – Featuring David Guetta
Dance the night away with EDM giant David Guetta at Malta’s iconic club, UNO. 7. Sliema Festa and Fireworks
Join locals in Sliema for the Stella Maris Feast, one of Malta’s most popular religious celebrations. Held near the historic 16th-century Stella Maris Church, the feast features decorated streets, bright lights, and lively brass band performances. On the feast day, a statue of the patron saint is carried through the streets as confetti rains down from balconies. The night ends with one of the most impressive fireworks displays of the season.
Visitors can also enjoy traditional Maltese sweets such as imqaret (deep-fried date cakes) and artisanal nougat sold at street stalls.
